MALTESER SLICES
My absolute favourite no 1 Traybake EVER (and I've sampled a lot in my lifetime :-)
Ingredients
100 g margarine or butter
225 g milk chocolate
250 g maltesers
225 g crushed digestives
3 tbsp syrup
white chocolate for on top
Swiss roll tin lined with cling film
- Crush biscuits
- Melt margarine, chocolate and syrup together
- Add crushed biscuits and 225 g of the maltesers
- Press into tin, put in fridge to harden
- Melt white chocolate, spread over top. Crush remaining maltesers and sprinkle over top, return to fridge to harden, cut into squares
