MALTESER SLICES

My absolute favourite no 1 Traybake EVER (and I've sampled a lot in my lifetime :-)

Ingredients
100 g margarine or butter
225 g milk chocolate
250 g maltesers
225 g crushed digestives
3 tbsp syrup
white chocolate for on top

Swiss roll tin lined with cling film

  1. Crush biscuits
  2. Melt margarine, chocolate and syrup together
  3. Add crushed biscuits and 225 g of the maltesers
  4. Press into tin, put in fridge to harden
  5. Melt white chocolate, spread over top. Crush remaining maltesers and sprinkle over top, return to fridge to harden, cut into squares
