Five Minute *PERSONAL* Chocolate Cake
This is really a very interesting recipe! You mix all the ingredients in a mug, pop it in the microwave and voila! A personal chocolate cake-in-a-mug! Great if you fancy something with your cuppa but haven’t got any cakes or sweets in the house. Most self-respecting cooks will have these ingredients in their cupboards. The cake is dense and moist and tastes nice though not utterly amazing but then you can’t expect that much from something so easy! Lots of calories though, be warned! Nice eaten hot.
Ingredients:
4 tbsp plain flour
4 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp cocoa
1 egg
3 tbsp milk
3 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp choc chips (or cut up some cooking choc)
Splash of vanilla extract
- Mix flour, sugar and cocoa in a microwavable mug. Add the egg and mix well. Pour in the milk and oil and mix thoroughly. Add the chocolate chips and vanilla and mix again.
- Pop in the microwave and cook on full power for 3 minutes. The cake will rise over the top of the mug like a soufflé. Allow to cool.
